Thanks to the kindness of Sandy Klempner, the wondrous shop's owner, I was able to photograph these shoes.

That is so neat!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, although when purchasing things that old a thought about who owned something, when they owned them, and whatever happened to them always goes through my mind. Who is the child those shoes once belonged to? What was their live like?
ReplyDeleteLol, I though the same exact thing! There is a whole life behind a simple pair of shoes! oxo
ReplyDeleteAli, I thought my thank you posted. oxo Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE everything about this picture, but most especially — apart from the shoes, of course — the wooden plank on which they stand. The combination of the brown weathered leather and the beat-up scratched-up olive green of the bench makes me want to listen to Woody Guthrie songs!
ReplyDeleteYour art makes me travel and dream and smile for so many numerous reasons. Thank You xoxo
Dearest Mudd,
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful for all your kind and very supportive words! You rock!!
oxoox,
Ana
